Wednesday #limerick: dampen, keep, tremble

Each Wednesday, I compose a limerick based on the prompt from Three Word Wednesday. Today's words are: dampen, keep, tremble

Oh, dampen my "lust" if you must,
For the hand that I thrust at your bust
 Was to swat that wasp dead
And keep you safe instead!
Don't tremble at this fuss unjust!
