Wednesday #Poetry: Erode, Heart, Observe

Welcome to my regular Wednesday poetry corner, brought to you by Three Word Wednesday.

Today's words are: Erode, Heart, Observe.

Engine roared like fit to burst,
Heart desperate to cross the line first,
He set a cruel pace.
"God, 'erode a fine race,
But observe, now, his motorbike's cursed!"

===== Feel free to comment on this or any other post.

  1. Very creative use of "erode"! I had to read it twice to get it. LOL

  2. I, too, loved that creative use the of the word erode. Great originality.

  3. First I was going to holler "no fair" but instead I am saying "well done!"

  4. I recently saw that Ghost Rider movie with Nicolas Cage.
Nice use of the 3ww prompt.

  5. love how you connected it to Ghostrider

  6. Clever way to include 'Erode' ... cool, Tony.

  7. Thanks, everyone. I realize that I was breaking the rules a bit with 'erode - I crave your indulgence!

  8. What is life without a bit of humour. Mind you I would have preferred "e'rode."

  9. Breaking the rule got us something really creative to read! Great.
