Wednesday #Poetry: Banter, Fumble, Glance

Welcome to my regular Wednesday poetry corner, brought to you by Three Word Wednesday and One Shot Wednesday.

Today's words are Banter, Fumble, Glance.

I'm smooth, with a good line of banter,
My words would please and entrance her;
But if you should glance
At what I call "dance"?
That fumble looks more like a canter.

  4. LOL. Guys should know, dance is the ultimate test. Not how good, but if a guy will do it at all.

  7. Canters can be fun! I like the lighthearted feel you have here. I love people that can laugh at themselves, especially if they can do it poetically.

    I finally got my 3WW/#FridayFlash here.

  9. Loved this limerick! Reminds me of how my husband thinks he dances, so I have allowed him to "opt out" on dance floors. Nice twist on the prompt! Amy
