NaNoWriMo Day 1: Cold and dim

Power is still out, so it's cold and dim at my place. Latest update is
we MIGHT get power back by tomorrow night, but I'm not counting on it.
My enthusiasm for writing is nonexistent, for NaNoWriMo or anything
else. This foul start may scupper the whole month.

  1. Hang in there, Tony. Some things in life are more important than writing. BUT if you do get a glimmering of an urge, pen and paper. Two years ago, I wrote half of my Nano by hand. Didn't 'win' but still got the work done.

My heart goes out to you and everyone else affected by Sandy. Peace...

  2. Linda has good advice. Me, I signed up for Nano this year but it's pretty much scuppered due to complete lack of enthusiasm. My home may be warm and dry but my energy level is about the same as your house!

Thank you for leaving a comment. The staff at Landless will treat it with the same care that we would bestow on a newly hatched chick. By the way, no pressure or anything, but have you ever considered subscribing to Landless via RSS?
